Victor Osimhen finally spoke out after the TikTok post controversy Napoli. Osimhen stressed his great love for Il Partenopei.
Osimhen was annoyed after Napoli uploaded a video on his TikTok account after the match against Bologna. The video touches on Osimhen’s missed penalty in the match.
Because of this, Osimhen then threatened to sue Napoli. The Nigerian striker also removed all photos of himself in a Napoli uniform from his social media accounts.
Napoli then gave an official statement that they had no intention of mocking their flagship player. Even though there is a cold war, Osimhen was still involved in the last two matches of the club from Naples.
Even Osimhen continued to appear sharp with two goals. This performance seems to be proof that Osimhen always acts professionally even though he is having problems with Napoli.
The former Lille player even sent an open letter to calm the turmoil that had occurred since his agent’s summons. According to Osimhen, Napoli is still the best club for him.
“Coming to Napoli in 2020 was the best decision for me. The people of Naples really love me and they are all good. I don’t want to damage our relationship,” said Osimhen as quoted by Football Italia.
