The Chivas de Guadalajara faced this Saturday’s game against Toluca with the loss of two of their best players, Alexis Vega and Uriel Antuna who were separated from the rest of the squad for having been involved in a controversy of indiscipline during the week for their birthday from the former Galaxy flyer.
Vega published several videos on his personal Instagram account at Antuna’s birthday party, consuming alcohol and not respecting the sanitary protocols established in the country due to the Coronavirus pandemic and that is something that King Midas does not intend to tolerate.

“Discipline is a fundamental factor in this institution. They are two very important elements, but under these circumstances there is no other determination”, he expressed at the post-match press conference.
There is no doubt that the presence of these pieces could have changed the destiny of this Saturday’s game against Toluca, but neither the coach nor the board are willing to bend the values of the institution for any player.
