The boy was riding a bicycle home with a friend around half past eleven, when they were approached on the Noordervoert. Violence suddenly ensued, in which one of the boys used a stabbing weapon.
The 15-year-old was treated in hospital for this. The police have the matter under investigation. The hope is, among other things, that members of a group of girls who were in the area at the time, also want to report as a witness.
“This is really a lot of violence, without cause,” says the father. “It is too crazy for words that you go to a village with a knife in your pocket to make noise there. What’s on your mind then?”
