“Veteran Tamil TV actress Vijayalakshmi passes away at 70 due to kidney disease”

Chennai: Actress Vijayalakshmi (70), who played mother roles in Tamil television serials, passed away. He died in a hospital in Chennai due to kidney disease.

Vijayalakshmi, who entered the acting scene through plays, acted in small roles in about ten films. Later he focused on television serials. Most famous for her role as the heroine’s grandmother in the popular serial ‘Bharathikannamma’. Saravanan acted in over fifty serials including Meenakshi, Muthazhak and Eramana Rojave. Relatives informed that Vijayalakshmi fell down while undergoing treatment for kidney disease.
