Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh, parents threw their child on stage to bring the family’s plight to the attention of the Chief Minister. The incident took place at a public meeting attended by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Sagar in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. Parents Mukesh Patil and his wife Neha threw their one-year-old child on the stage when the Chief Minister was on the stage.

Mukesh Patil lives with his wife Neha and one-year-old child in a village in Sahajpur. When the son was three months old, doctors diagnosed him with a heart-related disease. It was informed that a surgery would be required and the treatment would require around four lakh rupees. However, Mukesh Patil, a laborer, did not have such a huge amount in his hands. Patil also said that there was no one to help them.

As the treatment failed, they started thinking of ways to save the child’s life. Patil is coming to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s program in Sagar with the hope that if they bring their plight to the attention of the Chief Minister, they will get some help. However, Patil says the policemen did not agree to meet the Chief Minister.

Then, to attract the Chief Minister’s attention, both of them ordered the child to be thrown onto the stage. The child was thrown from the crowd and fell on the stage next to the Chief Minister. Soon, security personnel came and took the child and handed him back to his parents. Fortunately, the child was not seriously injured. After noticing the incident, the Chief Minister intervened. India Today reports that the Chief Minister has instructed Collector Deepak Arya to do the necessary things for the child’s treatment.
