Vestas: Germany, Italy, Australia – The order situation is amazing! Stock analysis (the shareholder)

Kulmbach (www.aktiencheck.de) – Analysis of Vestas shares of “Der Aktionär”:

Michel Doepke of the investor magazine “Der Aktionär” acquires the shares of Vestas Wind Systems A/S (ISIN: DK0061539921, WKN: A3CMNS, ticker symbol: VWSB, Copenhagen symbol: VWS, NASDAQ OTC symbol: VWSYF) in a current analysis of the title under the magnifying glass.

On the last trading day before the end of the year, wind turbine maker Vestas announced several significant orders. This would fill the already abundant order book at the Danish world market leader. No wonder, since the expansion of wind energy is a key element of the energy transition.

Among the new orders there is also a project in Germany. The order includes nine 6.0 megawatt V150 wind turbines with a hub height of 166 meters. In addition, Vestas has a 20-year service contract. And the Danes are also making progress in Italy: the company managed to book an order for 76 megawatts and another for 84 megawatts. Italy is an important country for Vestas, the turbine manufacturer has installed more than 4.9 gigawatts there since 1991.

But that’s not all: Vestas also announced a major order from Australia on Friday. The order with an output of 252 megawatts includes 42 V162-6.2 MW turbines. The turbines are expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2024.

Vestas’ order situation is staggering. However, the world market leader has recently struggled with margin issues.

If the Danes can sustainably improve their profit margins again, the share price should be significantly higher in the medium to long term, according to Michel Doepke of “Der Aktionär” at Vestas Wind Systems A/S. (Analysis of 12/30/2022)
