A large fire rages on Sunday morning in a multi-company building at the Transport Center in Beugen (near Boxmeer). The fire broke out around a quarter to nine.
A lot of smoke is released during the fire. Firefighters are trying to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby buildings. According to a 112 correspondent, the building is on fire and the smoke is heading towards Limburg. The company comprises a number of small companies, including the KWS Seuren battery company.
Nearby forces were called in to help put out the fire. An aerial platform has also been set up for extinction at high altitude.
