One more story about the “crazy” club Premier League in player spending. There is Nottingham Forest which in total has recruited 29 players from two transfer market this season!
In the summer, Nottingham Forest, which is a Premier League promotion team, has shown its aggressiveness in the transfer market.
No less than 21 new players were recruited by Nottingham in the 2022/2023 summer transfer market, which was also recorded ESPN a new British club record for the number of signings in one season transfer market — broke the records of Livingston (2001) and Scottish club Dundee (2000).
After 21 players recruited in the summer, Nottingham Forest apparently not satisfied. A number of players, including veteran goalkeeper Keylor Navas who was on loan from PSG, were successfully brought in in the winter transfer market.
