Max is only 4.5 years old when he gets his very first go-kart. It soon becomes clear that, just like his father, he has gasoline running through his veins and that he has enormous potential. What follows is an impressive career, in which the Dutchman is able to get closer to the top class of motorsport at breakneck speed. During that period Max spends a lot of time with his father, who takes him everywhere. The Red Bull driver is now working on his sixth season in the premier class, where he is doing excellent business. “Crazy dude, that you drive full throttle to Italy. I have a lot of respect for that, that he did that. Nobody does that for his son,” says Verstappen honestly. The Dutchman is therefore very grateful for everything his father has done. “Nobody comes close to that. Friends of ours, who we did it with together, did it. But no one else does.” Max becomes visibly emotional when he confirms that he will be eternally grateful to his father.
