Verena Altenberger as the Salzburg Mafia bride: Goiginger’s “Virginia” celebrated its premiere

The Salzburg director Adrian Goiginger, who had a cinematic success with “The Best of All Worlds”, has shown another film related to Salzburg: “Virgina – the unsolved riddle of the Salzburg Mafia bride”.

Filmmaker Adrian Goiginger and director Sascha Köllnreitner filmed the true story of the notorious Salzburg Mafia bride Virginia Hill for Servus TV. The film was shot on the Zistelalm – where Virginia Hill lived with her second husband, the then ski world champion Hans Hauser. In the main roles: Verena Altenberger and Michael Dangl. Goiginger said at the preview on Sunday at Das Kino: “I think it’s great that I was able to shoot with Verena Altenberger again. We are now not only connected by a collaboration, but also by a friendship.” The documentary will be shown to a wider audience on September 6th at 8.15 p.m. on Servus TV.
