The police in Verden chased a car to Delmenhorst on Monday evening. According to the information, the apparently drunk man was driving on the A27 in serpentines at the Verden-Ost junction. Although officers asked him to stop, the driver continued to drive at high speed. The man fled via the A1 and the A28 until he finally left the autobahn after around 50 kilometers near Delmenhorst. There the man built an accident, but remained unharmed, according to police. Blood was drawn from him for an alcohol test.
