Since January 1st, 2023, the company headquarters of Veolia Water Technologies Germany has been located at Speicherstraße 14 A in Celle. After more than four decades in the Lückenweg, the new location is now directly at the city harbor, at the foot of the Aller and now offers the employees completely new working conditions.
The newly designed area combines Celle’s industrial history with the demands of modern working environments: the two modern office buildings are located on the historic site on which Albert Haacke once developed his building materials, which are known far beyond the city limits, and are only a stone’s throw away from the old residential building of Wilhelm Berkefeld, the founder of the predecessor company Berkefeld Filter.
“The past three years have completely redefined the demands on work. It was important to us that the needs of our employees are also reflected in our new location. Because hybrid work, digital office and agile teams have also become an integral part of our corporate culture,” says Holger Reimers, Human Resources Manager at Veolia Water Technologies in Germany, adding: “All of this should therefore be taken into account in the new offices.”
So-called “Multi Spaces” were created on each of four floors – places where employees have the right rooms available for every activity. While open-plan areas promote creative exchange, classic office spaces still offer the opportunity for concentrated work.
