Halo Infinite is claiming “the best Halo ever”, but the current generation may not be powerful enough to deliver the quality you expect. To make matters worse, the latest rumors suggest another delay for 343 Industries.

In the middle of the month, 343 Industries surprised all gamers by delaying the release of Halo Infinite. The production debut, the task of which was to encourage potential customers to the Xbox Series X, was moved to next year. Phil Spencer apologized to the community for any inconvenience, but recent information suggests some serious problems with the game.
More details about the production have now surfaced: Sponger, a verified Resetera user who previously provided behind-the-scenes information on Microsoft’s games, believes that Halo Infinite works terrible on Xbox One S:
„[Obecna] the Xbox One S Halo Infinite version is not close to 1080p (the game runs even below 900p) and has serious resource loading issues (much worse than you saw on the PC Demo). “
There are many indications that the Microsoft console lacks the power to meet the expectations of 343 Industries, and thus all players. Consequently, developers are to consider giving up the game for the current generation:
“The idea is to change engine-level how assets load, by default setting RT (improve /” unlock “some assets), improve geometry, post-processing and add more CPU-related interactivity.”
A hard nut to crack for the team, as rumors say that the above-mentioned improvements cannot be applied on the current generation. According to the informant, the creators may need much more time, therefore Halo Infinite may not make its debut in 2021.
