SPACE — On November 8 2005, Europe launched its first mission to the planet Venus. The spacecraft was named Venus Express.
Venus is a hot greenhouse planet like hell. Lava flows on its surface, and its atmospheric pressure can easily destroy an unprotected spacecraft.
Even from orbit, Venus Express must survive extreme radiation. However, the spacecraft was able to survive for more than 9 years. The two planes that landed on Venus belonged to the Soviet Union and the US NASA. Both of them landed as dead bodies without lives; destroyed and dead.
In orbit, Venus Express saw a strange vortex swirling around the south pole of Venus. This also shows possible signs of an active volcano.

Venus Express also discovered that the planet produces its own auroras. The aurora occurs when solar particles hit charged particles in Venus’ atmosphere.
At the end of the Venus Express mission, controllers ordered the spacecraft to descend into the clouds of Venus. In fact, the plane was not designed to carry out such terrible acts.
Initially, the action went well, but eventually the Venus Express fell silent, and stopped listening to orders. The spacecraft burned up in Venus’ atmosphere in January 2015. Source: Space.com
