Manuel González, substitute deputy for Américo De Grazia in the National Assembly, who was branded a traitor after he participated in the swearing-in of deputy Luis Parra as president of Parliament on January 5, in a process full of irregularities, died this Monday, August 17 from COVID-19.
This was reported by the party COPEI, who regretted his physical departure: “We regret the sensitive death of Manuel ‘Zamurito’ González, who in life was a Deputy of the AN for Bolívar, Former Mayor and Former Councilor of the Roscio Municipality of Bolívar state, Former Director of COPEI Bolívar From COPEI we express our deepest condolences ”.
It’s important pointing that weeks ago they also died from COVID-19 Josefina Marrero de González and Ana González de Graffe, who were the mother and sister of the questioned deputy.
