Venezuela enters this week in controlled partial easing

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that this week in the states of Caracas, Miranda, Zulia, La Guaira, Sucre, Bolívar, Táchira, Aragua and Carabobo, the Partial Flexibilization monitored type 1 will be applied, which includes the opening for work of the workers in the prioritized sectors.

Maduro asked the population for maximum awareness to comply with prevention measures and avoid the spread of covid-19.

For her part, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez recalled that the partial relaxation will have activity in 10 productive sectors of the economy: construction, hardware, chemical raw material industry, transportation, banking agencies, hairdressers, mechanical workshops and auto parts, medical and dental offices, industry textile and footwear and custom plumbing and other services.

In the controlled general flexibility, 24 prioritized sectors are activated (the previous 10 of level two and also include: Car washes, optical shops, electronic repair, stationery and bookstores, ice cream parlors and take-out only cafeterias, laundry and dry cleaners, only authorized shopping centers, manufacturing of electrical appliances, parcel service, textile and footwear marketing, registry and notaries, gyms, sports activities without the public, veterinary care and drive-ins.
