Argentinian Alsina is waiting for the terminator in Štvanice, whom the fans consider to be a rather easy bite. How does Langer, who is already carefully preparing for Vémola, see it?

“Alsina has a better record than me at first glance, but it’s hard to judge how she is with experience. It is also important to take into account that he lost in the last fight. In addition, specific preparation is needed for Karlos, and three weeks is not enough. In the first round, Karel ends him by submission. It means more material for me to analyze. I myself am curious as to what impact the latest loss will have on Karlos. It can give it a new fire, but also be binding,” answered Pavol Langer for iSport.cz for the Vémola vs Alsina fight.
Although it has not yet been officially confirmed, it is generally expected that we should see the Vémola vs. Langer fight, i.e. the fight between the two semi-heavyweight champions, in October at the next OKTAGON tournament in Bratislava, where there will also be a Čepo vs. Peňáz fight . However, the key will probably be how difficult the fight with Alsina will be for Vémola, because a possible injury could fundamentally change the plans. Why does Vémola go to Štvanice with Alsina?
“The original idea and the original dream was to close Štvanice with a duel that would knock us all out of the gym. It was supposed to be a duel between Vémola and Materla. We actually agreed, but the problem was that in the end Materla is hurt more than usual. Otherwise, he is a fool who walks despite his injuries. With a hand that was injured, which I don’t want to specify, it was simply impossible to undergo the preparation as he would have imagined. So it came down to that,” explained Ondřej Novotný in his broadcastthat the fight was really close, but that an injury prevented him in the end.
“Subsequently we had two interesting names. For example, it was the Brazilian Cleber, to whom I personally leaned. He also has an interesting career in European organizations. I suspect he beat Ragozin (lost on points – editor’s note). He met big names. Unfortunately, when I agreed to everything, it got stuck somewhere on the part of the manager and Cleber. The match was lost.
An interesting Polish fighter Haratyk also signed up for the match. You guys they exchanged messages on networks. We said yes and Karlos said yes. The moment we said yes, we realized there were two problems.” Novotný continued that Haratyk had a problem with the doping case and also with the contract in the French ARES, from which Haratyk was, however, as of 7/11. officially tied up.
“So we had to resolve the situation, but we’ll see if we can agree on a contract with Haratyk, which it looks like we might… So right now we have an Argentinian opponent who’s 11-4 and last fought in Bellator… I’m a little sad that none of the big names panned out, but that’s the way it is sometimes. Everything doesn’t always fit together. It’s just like that. For Karlos, this opponent from those named is not easy, we don’t need to tell you that. However, it should still be a relatively interesting opponent.”
If it weren’t for Vémol’s statement about the hardest match of his career, the community probably accepts Alsa more easily, because the Terminator is only after a loss and injuries. For example, Haratyk from Artnox spoke up, but somehow the other side fell silent,” Kincl then supplemented his reaction with arguments.
