Veil. America’s Cup 2024: Jeddah, Cork, Barcelona or Malaga? – Veil

37th America’s Cup in 2024

Last September, the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (RNZYS) and defending champion Emirates Team New Zealand (ETNZ) announced that the decision on the host city would be taken later, the health crisis having delayed the process. The name of the chosen city should be known in the coming days. And it is obviously played out between Cork in Ireland, Barcelona and Malaga in Spain, but also Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, a city located on the shores of the Red Sea.

The only certainty, the New Zealanders, winners of the Italians of Prada in the final in March 2021, have confirmed the British challenge Ineos Team UK as the official Challenger. We also know that the 37th edition will still be contested on AC75s but that each challenge will also have to have an A40, a reduced version which will be used by women and young sailors.
