With the reopening of verificentros, after four months of pandemic by Covid-19, an influx of more than 3 million vehicles located in the State of Mexico is expected, whose owners comply in time and form with this process of control of emissions of atmospheric pollutants, recognized Mexican authorities.
After obtaining appointments by phone and online on the electronic page of the Ministry of Environment of the State of Mexico, http://smahologramas.dsinet.com.mx/RegistroCitas, or directly in each verificentro whose numbers can be found in the link https://sma.edomex.gob.mx/directorio-verificentros-talleres-pirec, the first owners of vehicles with Mexican license plates, arrived this Monday after the closure of these establishments for four months, since March when the cases of the Covid-19 pandemic increased.

The deadline to verify is 30 days for car owners with a pink gum with a plate finish of 7 or 8; the completion of plates 3 or 4 will have 60 calendar days.
The green stickers with completion of plates 1 or 2 have 90 calendar days to obtain holograms and for those with completion of plates 9 or 0 they are 120 calendar days, indicated the director of Prevention and Control of Air Pollution of the State of Mexico.
Among the sanitary actions, it stands out, in addition to the obligatory use of mouth guards and the taking of temperature, that when getting out of the car and before getting in, the verificentro employee sanitizes the areas with which he has contact to carry out the verification.
