Kochi: The vehicle strike called by the Samyuktha Samara Samithi to protest against the increase in fuel prices has started in the state. The strike will last from 6 am to 6 pm. All trade unions except BMS are participating in the strike.

Autorickshaws, taxis, light vehicles, private buses and KSRTC buses are not on the road today. Milk, newspapers, ambulances, election-related vehicles and weddings have been excluded from the strike.

APJ Abdul Kalam University of Technology (KTU) has postponed tomorrow’s exams due to the strike. The MA Museology entrance examination scheduled to be held today at Kalady Sanskrit University has been postponed. Renewal date will be announced later.

The Higher Secondary Model Examinations scheduled for today have also been rescheduled. The examination was postponed to the eighth day. MG University has also changed all the exams for tomorrow. The distance education section of Kannur University scheduled to be held today has been postponed to March 12. All the examinations scheduled to be conducted by Kerala University today have been postponed. Renewal date will be announced later.
