Adapting the song “Viva Chile”, from the album “Chronicle of a revolt” that was born after October 18, 2019, Daniel Muñoz and his companions on the musical route decided to support the candidate of Approve Dignity, Gabriel Boric, calling for a vote in the second presidential round to the rhythm of popular dance.
In addition to the voice and sound of Daniel Muñoz’s player, the members of his current band Los 30 Pesos join the video. There they are -on voice and guitar- Horacio Hernández (La Gallera, Los Marujos) and Diego Cabello (Los Trukeros and De Caramba); while Gonzalo Gómez (member of Gepe’s band on the Folclor Imaginario album) performs in voice and bass.
“We must join forces with reason”, prays the chorus. Muñoz, who has been in the world of music for almost two decades in groups such as Los Tricolores, 3×7 Veintiuna and Los Marujos, has also embodied remembered characters such as El Efe, El Malo and Juan Herrera on television, theater and film.
The video is part of the actions of BPM, Brigada de Periodistas de Música, a self-convened group of music and culture journalists, music media, press agencies for the arts and audiovisual producers, organized to disseminate and support cultural initiatives arising in the context of the campaign for Gabriel Boric in the second round.
