Vasily Berezutsky explained why Russian coaches are not in demand abroad
Russian specialist Vasily Berezutsky spoke about the reasons for the lack of demand for local coaches in foreign teams.
“Why are our coaches not in demand in Europe? We have a big country and a place to work. We are more local people, often do not understand the mentality of other countries. We have our own approach to life and business, plus languages, because in smaller countries everyone speaks English. With any offer, you take things and go, and here you need to learn the language. You can take the example of Leonid Slutsky, who was preparing to work at Vitesse, I think, for about six to eight months, just learning the language practically from scratch,” Berezutsky said in a video posted on the Comment.Show YouTube channel.
Vasily Berezutsky has been out of work since June 2022. The last place of work of the specialist was the coaching staff of his brother Alexei in CSKA.
