Ten Hag has been appointed as United’s new manager from next season. Ten Hag faced a tough task because he had to bring MU back up after going through a bad 2021/2022 season.
For five years in a row, MU has not won a title and this is the worst because they have recorded a number of bad records. Failure to finish in the top four has tarnished the team’s achievements this season.
When faced with a tough task, Ten Hag is also still messing around with the transfer market because none of the targeted players have been found. Meanwhile, they are also busy with several players who must be released.
With the pre-season session starting soon, Ten Hag needs the best squad as soon as possible. Although there are no new players, MU and Ten Hag are eagerly awaited by the players, one of them is Varane.
The French defender believes Ten Hag will bring new changes for United as a whole, so the team can perform better.
“It’s a new season, a new start, so all the players are really looking forward to working with the new manager,” Varane told the official website.
“Of course we want to look good and win all the games. Therefore we have to prepare ourselves as well as possible for the new season and I think it is important for us to train hard to be ready,” he continued.
“We want to be ready for the new season. We have to work hard and there will be a lot of training sessions and a lot of games. So it will be very interesting and it’s a great moment to work really hard and get ready for the new season.”
Manchester United planned to start the pre-season session on 27 June and will tour Australia and Southeast Asia. United will meet Liverpool in Bangkok, then travel to Melbourne to face Crystal Palace and Perth to meet Aston Villa.
