Van Gerwen does not participate in new PDC Home Tour competition: ‘I cannot meet the requirements of PDC’



Michael van Gerwen does not participate in the PDC Home Tour, the newly established darts competition of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC).

All PDC Tour Card holders are invited to participate in this competition. 32 groups of four players are formed. One group will be completed every evening, after which the 32 group winners will advance to the second phase. Players are not required to participate in the PDC Home Tour. For example, Van Gerwen has a conversation with RTL 7 indicated not to participate.

“I cannot meet the requirements of the PDC. For example, it has to be quiet, but with a newborn baby, a child of 2.5 years and three dogs, it really won’t work. It is also two match days in the month. My training hours with Vincent are worth more ”, the number one in the world said.
