The Berlin corona incidence has fallen again. On Friday, the value was 445.4. A week earlier, the incidence was over 500.
Hospitalization rate remains high
Within one day, 2,850 new corona infections and five other deaths related to Covid-19 were reported. With a value of 13.8, the hospitalization rate fell slightly. However, the corresponding corona traffic light is still red. 6.3 percent of Berlin intensive care beds are occupied by corona patients.

Experts suspect a high number of unrecorded cases
However, the incidence does not provide a complete picture of the infection situation. Experts continue to assume that there will be a high number of cases not recorded by the RKI – mainly because not all infected people have a PCR test done. Only positive PCR tests count in the statistics.
