A 14-year-old girl was found drowned dead Monday evening in the Seine in Argenteuil, in Val-d’Oise, and two high school students were arrested, according to police sources. According to the first elements of the investigation, a young boy and his girlfriend would have hit the victim whose body was found in the water around 9 p.m., specify these police sources.
The two young people were taken into custody after being arrested around two in the morning, specifies BFMTV. A little earlier, one of the two teenagers would have confessed to his mother to have struck the victim before throwing his body in the Seine. It was also the mother of the boy arrested who warned the police that her son had just hit a comrade who was attending the same establishment.
The mother of the drowned teenager reportedly said her daughter was being harassed.
