Bologna, 3 May 2021 – The regional vaccination machine is proceeding at full speed. The arrival of new vaccine doses scheduled for May it will make a further leap forward to the immunization of the Emilia-Romagna region. THEn trenta days exact schedule, from April 27 to May 27 in the region, between deliveries already made and future, will arrive altogether over a million doses, more than half Pfizer.

Pfizer, Modern and Astrazeneca
After the distribution to Health Authorities, on April 27, of 17 thousand doses of Moderna and 9,600 of Astrazeneca and on April 29, of 159,120 Pfizer-Biontech, for a total of 185,720 doses in the last three days of the month, since yesterday distribution of May, month in which they are expected 843,590 doses from the four different producers: 610.740 of Pfizer-Biontech, 150,600 of Astrazeneca, recently renamed Vaxzevria, 70,850 of Modern and 11,400 of Johnson&Johnson, which unlike other vaccines requires only one dose for immunization.
Donini: “At the end of the month we exceed 2.5 million inoculations”
“Trusting in compliance with distribution agreements – says the regional councilor for health policies, Raffaele Donini – this delivery plan allows us to fully exploit the capacity of the vaccination machine and to take the immunization campaign a further, truly significant step forward: with these deliveries we will exceed 2.5 million inoculated doses by the end of the month. The Government has given us a roadmap that we have already shown we know how to respect, the only indispensable condition is precisely the supply of the right quantity of doses. Now more than ever – concludes the commissioner – it is important not to let your guard down and continue to adopt correct behaviors, even more so in this phase of reopening, in order not to frustrate the enormous effort made in recent months just when, here as in the country, the campaign is accelerating ”.
May deliveries in Emilia Romagna
The first deliveries of the month of May have started yesterday, with the arrival in the region of 18,300 doses of Moderna, 128,500 of Astrazeneca-Vaxzevria and 11,400 of Johnson & Johnson. The May 6 154,440 doses of Pfizer-Biontech, il 10 another 26,200 by Moderna, while the 13 154,440 doses of Pfizer will be distributed again.
Deliveries in the second half of the month open with 26,350 doses of Moderna il May 18, the 20 152,100 doses of Pfzier-Biontech and 22,100 Vaxzevira are scheduled to arrive. The last supply in May will be that of 27 of the month, with 149,760 Pfizer.
The distribution province by province
As for the distribution on the territory in the month of May, a Piacenza 39,780 doses of Pfizer-Biontech, 2,900 of Moderna, 10,400 of Astrazeneca and 800 of Johnson & Johnson will be delivered, a total of 53,880 doses.
In the province of Parma the distribution will be 59,670 doses of Pfizer-Biontech, 4,300 of Moderna, 15,400 of Astrazeneca and 1,100 of Johnson & Johnson, for a total of 80,470 doses.
In the territory of Reggio Emilia 69,030 doses of Pfizer-Biontech, 4,900 of Moderna, 17,200 of Astrazeneca and 1,200 of Johnson & Johnson will arrive, in total 92,330 doses.
A Modena 91,260 doses of Pfizer-Biontech, 6,800 of Moderna, 23,900 of Astrazeneca and 1,700 of Johnson & Johnson are expected, therefore 123,660 total doses.
A Bologna 140,400 doses of Pfizer-Biontech, 10,300 of Moderna, 29,600 of Astrazeneca and 2,700 of Johnson & Johnson are expected, for a total of 183,000 doses.
A Ferrara 54,990 doses of Pfizer-Biontech, 4,000 of Moderna, 14,100 of Astrazeneca and 1,000 of Johnson & Johnson are on the way, a total of 74,090 doses.
In the provinces of the AUSL of Romagna, therefore Forlì-Cesena, Ravenna e Rimini, a total of 155,610 doses of Pfizer-Biontech, 11,300 of Moderna, 40,000 of Astrazeneca and 2,900 of Johnson & Johnson are planned, in total 209,810 doses.
All these subdivisions do not include the 26,350 doses of Moderna delivered on 18 May, for which distribution among the health authorities has not yet been formalized.
