Vaccines, another 62 thousand doses delivered to the island

New stocks of coronavirus vaccines for Sardinia.

In these hours, another 62,500 vials have been delivered to the island, which will now be divided among the various hubs for administration.

In detail: these are an additional 51,200 doses of AstraZeneca, 7,000 of Moderna and 4,300 doses of Johnson & Johnson.

Meanwhile, the government report updates the total count of inoculated vaccines at the regional level, which has exceeded the threshold of half a million, reaching precisely 511 thousand, with a percentage of 86.4% compared to the 591,590 delivered.

Here is the detail of the administrations: 148,723 vaccines have been inoculated to the over 80s so far; 70,518 to the elderly aged 70 to 79; 34,983 from 60 to 69 years; 90,652 doses to health and social health workers; 36,223 to non-health personnel employed in health facilities and in work activities at risk; 71,784 to frail subjects and caregivers; 17,939 to guests of residential structures; 11,040 to the Defense and Security Section; 22,654 to school staff; finally 6,581 doses to the “Other” category.
