At the end of July, the American radio profile Phil Valentine (61) hospitalized with coronary heart disease.
Now the American media reports that the 61-year-old did not survive the disease.
Vaccine critical
Throughout the pandemic, the radio profile from Tennessee has been one of those who has encouraged his listeners not to take the vaccine, because he did not see the importance of it.
In the radio program “SuperTalk” on the channel WTN, he has parodied the George Harrison song “Taxman”. However, Valentine’s version was named “Vaxman”.
A conservative radio host from Tennessee, who was critical of vaccination work and bandages, died on Saturday at a hospital in Nashville, after fighting covid-19 for weeks, writes The Guardian.
Mocking vaccine – urgent
– Diminished the importance
– His death comes more than a month after he first announced that he had been diagnosed with covid-19. In his program, Valentine repeatedly downplayed the importance of getting a vaccine against the virus, and he said in December last year that he thought his personal chance of dying from covid-19 was probably less than one percent, writes CNN.
When the 61-year-old became infected with the virus in July, he told about his experience of the disease. He described coughing, lungs and a tiredness that “hurt shit”.
He then also advised his listeners to take the vaccine, but said at the same time that there were some “very effective alternatives” to immunity.
