The first phase of Kovid-Vaccine vaccination in the state will be held on Saturday. Vaccination is available at 133 centers. 4,33,500 doses of vaccine were given. There will be 12 centers in Ernakulam district and 11 centers each in Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode districts. Nine each in the remaining districts. Vaccination is carried out under the supervision of the Department of Health in collaboration with various agencies and departments of international agencies such as the World Health Organization, UNICEF and UNDP.
On the first day, the vaccine is given to 100 people from one center. Vaccination is from nine to five in the morning. The registered person will receive an SMS telling them where to go to get the vaccine. It takes four to five minutes per person to be vaccinated.
Monitoring for 30 minutes after vaccination is mandatory. Doctor’s services will also be available at the vaccination center. Every center will have an AEFI (Immunization-Comprehensive Adverse Events) Kit for emergency treatment. Monitoring is to ensure that any minor or major side effects are addressed immediately. Webcasting is available at all vaccination centers.

The person is injected with 0.5 mL of cochlear shield vaccine. The next dose is given 28 days after the first dose. Take two doses and you will get results.
