Vaccination schedule against Covid-19: Next week, stragglers from 18 years of age can be vaccinated with the first dose and a second dose of Sinovac and Pfizer will be administered

During the delivery of today’s Covid balance, the Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, announced the vaccination schedule for next week. This process, he recalled, will be carried out parallel to the delivery of the booster vaccine against Covid-19, whose calendar has already been published by the Minsal.

As indicated by the Health authority, the next Monday and Tuesday laggards from 18 years of age may be vaccinated with the first dose with Sinovac, and with the second dose the population vaccinated with Sinovac between July 19 and 25.

Besides, From Wednesday to Friday, the population vaccinated with Pfizer between July 5 and 18 will be inoculated with a second Pfizer dose. This, for adolescents between 15 and 17 years old and those with comorbidities between 12 and 17 years old.

As indicated, No first dose will be given to children under 18.

Also during that week, the inoculation of pregnant women from 16 weeks of gestational age will continue – as in previous weeks.
