Vaccination of 14-year-old adolescents against Covid begins today – El Sol de Parral

This Wednesday begins the application of the first dose for adolescents 14 years of age or older, in the municipalities of Balleza, Batopilas, Guachochi, Guadalupe y Calvo and Nonoava; It is projected to vaccinate more than 1,500 minors against Covid-19 with the Pfizer brand biological.

The Ministry of Welfare reported on the state vaccination strategy that will begin on April 6 with the application of the first dose to 14-year-old adolescents in the municipalities of Balleza, Batopilas, Guachochi, Guadalupe y Calvo, and Nonoava, in which 1,638 biologicals of the Pfizer brand will be administered.

The operation will begin this morning in the five municipalities, but in Balleza it will be for a single day at three vaccination points: Baquiriachi, the Health Center and Ejido El Vergel, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. .

In Nonoava, the operation on Wednesday, April 6, will be carried out in the municipal seat and on Thursday, April 7, in Humariza, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

In Batopilas de Manuel Gómez Morín, on Wednesday 6, begins in San Ignacio and the Health Center with Extended Services (CESSA) Batopilas; on Thursday the 7th, in Polanco and Yoquivo, and on Friday the 8th, in Quiraré. Every day from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

For Guadalupe y Calvo, on Wednesday the 6th, the vaccine deployment will arrive in Mesa de San Rafael and Dolores; on Thursday 7, Ranchería de San Pedro, La Catedral and Llano Grande; on Friday 8, Baborigame. The Community Hospital will attend on Wednesday and Thursday, all from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

In Guachochi, 13 vaccination points will be activated on Wednesday 6: Basihuare, Laguna de Aboreachi, Rocheachi, Hueleyvo (Tatahuichi); Thursday 7: Norogachi and Ranchería Ciénega Prieta; Friday 8: Choguita, Rimichurachi and Samachique; Saturday 9: Ciénega de Norogachi and Guamichique. The Family Medical Unit of the IMSS of Guachochi will attend on Wednesday and Thursday. All in a schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Minors must be 14 years old and present themselves with the printed format of mivacuna.salud.gob.mx, the Unique Population Registry Key (CURP), birth certificate (in order to identify the parents), as well as identification official of the mother father or guardian who accompanies him.

In this way, the Government of Mexico is making progress in achieving greater coverage of age groups of the population, as is the case of 14-year-old adolescents, in which our state was the first in the entire country to be immunized against Covid-19.
