“Vaccination Day in Comala: Vaccines for People, Dogs, and Cats in the Main Garden”

The Secretary of Health of the Government of the State of Colima reported that this Saturday, May 20, it will carry out one more day of the Vaccination, this time in the main garden of Comala, from four in the afternoon to eight at night.

The State Vaccination Coordination added that during this day various vaccines of the basic scheme against Covid-19 and anti-rabies will be offered. In this Vaccinaton, vaccination modules for people, dogs and cats will be installed, where the permanent vaccine will be offered for boys and girls under 8 years of age and against Covid-19 (Abdala) for those over 18 years of age.

Vaccines against tetanus and pneumococcus will also be applied for adults and to prevent measles and rubella from 20 to 39 years of age, as well as against rabies in dogs and cats. He asked the population not to forget to carry the National Vaccination Card to have greater control of the vaccines that are applied and, thus, have better coverage of them in the population.

Vaccination -he concluded- has been a great strength for public health in recent years by avoiding hospitalization and death from the SARS-COV-2 virus, as well as preventing other diseases such as influenza, measles, rubella and polio.
