The Minister of Health, Hernando Cevallos, reported that his sector will take new measures to promote vaccination against COVID-19.

“We are insisting on the most well-known parameters (distancing, mask, hand washing), but especially the two vaccines to be able to attend any public place. We are raising this in the malls, markets and restaurants or other businesses (where) people go, ”he said on channel N.

Likewise, the minister stressed the importance of businesses taking into account that “the environment is not so loaded and always ventilated”, as well as complying with the measures already established by the Ministry of Health.

On the other hand, he said he hopes that the public will continue to comply with biosafety measures in order to avoid an increase in infections and announced that he will authorize the capacity of the stadiums to increase from 20% to 30%, only for people already vaccinated. with both doses.
