Just a few weeks ago it was reported that Jimin from BTS had tested positive for covid-19 and had to undergo an operation for acute appendicitis and now Big Hit, the company that represents the group, reported that V, another member of BTS tested positive for coronavirus.

It was through a statement that the company informed the Army about the health status of Kim Taehyung, real name of V. Big Hit mentioned that it was the afternoon of February 15 that the singer went to the hospital for some discomfort in his throat.

“V visited the hospital on Tuesday afternoon on February 15 after experiencing a slight sore throat and had a PCR test done. He was diagnosed with covid-19 tonight.”

According to the statement, V has two doses of anticovid vaccine and He has no serious symptoms other than a sore throat and is at home.

“V has completed two rounds of coronavirus vaccination and is not displaying any extraordinary symptoms other than a mild fever and sore throat. He is currently undergoing treatment at her home pending further instructions from the health authorities.”

On the other hand, the company revealed that V was in contact with other members of BTS, but that after performing PCR tests, all of them came out negative except for Tae.

“There was contact with the other members on Saturday, February 12, 2022, but they were all wearing a mask and there was no close contact. None of the BTS members except V are exhibiting symptoms, and all received negative test results.”

In December 2021 several members of BTS caught covid-19, including Suga, RM and Jin. At the end of January it was announced that Jimin had tested positive for coronavirus, in addition that he had undergone an operation for appendicitis, from which he recovered satisfactorily.

So far the only members of BTS who have not been infected are J-Hope and Jungkook.
