The United States is deeply concerned about the massive increase in coronavirus cases in India and plans to quickly provide additional support to the Indian government and health workers. That’s what a White House spokesman said.
In India, a total of 16.6 million people have been infected with the corona virus. Nearly 190,000 people died from the disease COVID-19, according to figures from the American Johns Hopkins University.
“We are in active high-level talks and plan to rapidly deploy additional support for the Indian government and Indian health workers in their fight against this latest serious outbreak. We will release more very soon,” the spokesperson told news agency Reuters.

The countries with the most new deaths, according to the latest reports, are Brazil (2914), India (2624) and the United States (962). The US is the most affected country in terms of both deaths and infections, with 571,941 deaths and just over 32 million cases of infection.
