The rapper Marlo, best known in Atlanta, is dead. Various US-Rapportale reported on the death of the US artist before official confirmation. Across from TMZ the police have since declared that Marlo was shot.
Lil Yachty confirms Marlo’s death
This weekend Marlo and Lil Yachty probably met to make music together. The US star was one of the first to publicize his grief on social media.
Videos of a damaged car that should be owned by Marlo are circulating on Twitter. The information coincides with the information provided by the police. This was originally alarmed about a car accident. Marlo was found shot at the scene of the accident. The exact circumstances are still unclear for the time being. However, according to current knowledge, it looks like Marlo was hit by fatal shots while driving.

Marlo was under contract with Quality Control Music. The label, which is responsible for the publications by Migos, Lil Baby and Lil Yachty. This year Marlo’s album “1st and 3rd” was released. For the title track, Marlo was able to win two feature guests from the top floor of the US rap: Future and Lil Baby.

Marlo had a closer friendship with the latter. Together they released the collaborative mixtape “2 The Hard Way” in 2017. In 2018, Marlo explained in one Interviewthat he wanted to go down in history with his music:
“Some things happen on the streets that you can’t let go of in the music world. I’m trying to learn all of that now. I’m trying not to be a one-hit wonder; I’m trying to be here forever.”

He can continue to go down in history. However, his legacy itself does not continue. Marlo has four children. Various US artists have already expressed their sympathy. Rest in peace!
