Shock in Flushing Meadows!
Rafael Nadal is out of the US Open, following tonight’s defeat to Frances Tiafoe, in the round of 16.
Following winning the Australian Open up and Roland Garros, Nadal started off as just one of the favorites but succumbed to the American 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 and 6-3, in three hrs and 32 minutes.
And Tiafoe, taking part in at home, ended up enthusiastic and rightly so: the entire world selection 26 overtook Nadal with a dream general performance. The only exception was the remaining aspect of the 2nd established, which fell on the Spanish participant.
In the following round, Tiafoe will facial area Russian Andrey Rublev.
