The US Department of Defense has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine to meet its needs on the battlefield.

Details: The $600 million package is being provided under the Ukraine Assistance Security Initiative (USAI). It will contain equipment to strengthen the air defense system of Ukraine, artillery ammunition and other means.
In particular, the new US military aid package includes:
equipment to support and strengthen the air defense systems of Ukraine; additional ammunition for highly mobile artillery rocket systems (HIMARS); 105 mm artillery shells; means of electronic warfare and counteraction to electronic warfare; ammunition for demining and destruction of obstacles; demining equipment; support and equipment for training, maintenance and activities.
This was preceded by: On September 6, the United States announced the provision of Ukraine a new $175 million military aid package, which, in particular, included ammunition with depleted uranium.
In addition, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced during his visit to Kyiv that Washington will allocate more than a billion dollars to help Ukraine.
