Her comments a few weeks ago caused a stir in the United States. Still, Greene stood her ground for a long time and continued to defend her statements. “I didn’t say anything wrong,” she repeated to various media.
The American Jewish Congress, a Jewish interest group, asked her to apologize immediately after the statements. “You can never compare health-related restrictions to yellow stars, gas chambers and other Nazi atrocities,” the organization wrote.

Greene is known because of the conspiracy theories she regularly spreads. She repeatedly repeated Trump’s false claim that he would have won the election on November 3 last year.
