It results from the provisions of the Tax New Deal. This is how ZUS will now calculate and pay the net amount of the old-age pension, starting with the January benefit.

Due to the changes introduced by the Tax New Deal (details below), pensions and other benefits paid by the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) will be paid (transferred to the account) in a different amount than in December and earlier, with the same gross amount.

Due to the above-mentioned changes in regulations, benefits for January 2022:
approximately up to PLN 483 – will be paid in the same amount
from approximately PLN 484 to PLN 2,500 – will be paid in a higher amount
