Urban art takes the streets of Villafranca

Five pictorial murals they decorate as many points of the urban area of ​​Villafranca. These works are the result of the urban art festival recently held by the Bus 31330, with the collaboration of the City Council, which brought together seven artists specializing in this genre in the town.
The participants were the local muralist Ignacio Simón; Manolo Mesa from Cádiz; and the Gipuzkoan from Bergara Jokin Oregi ‘Sortwo’. Each one of them carried out a work, which was joined by the other two carried out by the Navarrese Jon Zabalegui (Villava) and Jabi Corte (Huarte), on the one hand; and Leire Urbeltz (Pamplona) and Malmö (Baztan), on the other.

AGRICULTURE, LEADING

The only requirement that the organization of the event put the artists was that the motives of their works had relationship with Villafranca. Thus, the five works feature the world of the countryside and agriculture.
Once the work was completed, the members of the 31330 Collective made two guided visits to the murals in which a total of 250 neighbors.

The Cultural Collective 31330 de Villafranca was the promoter of the Urban Art Festival that took place in the town and that has managed to decorate its streets with five pictorial murals. For the organization of the event, the entity had the collaboration of the City Council, which contributed the 10,000 euros necessary for its development.
