After a weekend, the impact of the heavy rain of the century on public transportation has been gradually repaired.

Stanley and Peak Transportation: Citybus announced that as the works department completed the emergency repair and road cleaning work on Repulse Bay Road and Stubbs Road, starting from the first train today (September 11), Citybus No. 6, which had earlier shortened its journey due to road conditions, , 6A, 6X, 14, 63, 66, 73, 260 and 973 will resume their original routes to Stanley; and Citybus Route 15 will also resume their original routes to the Peak.

MTR Wong Tai Sin Station:Some equipment was damaged by flooding and will take time to repair. The B3 entrance and exit still need to be closed. It is expected that the queue to enter and exit the gate and the waiting time may be long. Except for the lift connecting the D1 entrance and the station concourse, which has resumed service, other lifts and escalators are temporarily suspended. Passengers in need are advised to use Lok Fu or Diamond Hill stations to take the Kwun Tong Line.

Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point: Operations will resume at 7am today (September 11). Citybus Route B7 (Sheung Shui/Fanling-Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point), Route B8 (Shatin-Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point) and KMB Route B9 (Tuen Mun-Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point) Normal services will resume from today.

Shau ​​Kei Wan and Chai Wan:Due to landslides, road subsidence, fallen trees and flooding, the entire Yiu Hing Road in Shau Kei Wan and Lien Shing Road (round trip) near Lien Tsui Estate are still closed. Motorists are advised to consider using other roads; roads serving Yiu Tung Estate are still closed. Citybus Route 77 and Tunnel Bus Routes 110 and 606 must still be diverted and not pass through Yiu Hing Road (Hing Tung Estate/Yiu Tung Estate/Tung Shing Court).

As for the following road sections, single-lane, two-way traffic is still implemented:

– Shek O Road near Lam Nai Wan;

– Tai Po Highway – Tai Po Kau section near slope path;

– Peak Road near No. 60;

– No. 53, near Stubbs Road;

– Wong Ma Kok Road near St. Stephen’s Bay
