The year has barely started and the WhatsApp has already released its first update of 2022. For this new wave, both Android and iOS devices have received adjustments to work more cleanly and without crashes.

When it comes to devices iOS, the update is numbered 22.1.73, and in the case of Android users, the update is numbered 2.21.24.22. For both sides, the aim of new whatsapp update is to correct possible bugs that may interfere with the tool’s functioning.
New feature coming soon
In addition to the latest update, WhatsApp will also get a new feature soon. This is the update that will allow the user see profile pictures in notifications as soon as a contact sends a message.
Currently, the novelty is only available to some testers using the beta version of the iOS operating system. Still in the development stage, the function does not have an official release date.
