“Update on Medal Standings at SEA Games 2023: Indonesia Ranks Fourth with 87 Medals”

Indonesia is stuck in fourth place in the medal standings SEA Games 2023 until Tuesday (9/5) afternoon.

So far the Indonesian contingent has added medals by obtaining one gold and two bronze medals. The total Indonesian team has now won 87 medals.

A total of 87 medals were divided into 23 gold, 19 silver and 45 bronze. Additional medals this Tuesday came from the vovinam branch: 1 gold and 2 bronze.

One vovinam gold medal was won from the women’s doubles from the knife fomr: Ni Made Purnami/Putu Wahana Maha Yoni.

Meanwhile, the two bronze medals came via the women’s doubles sword form: Ni Made Purnami/Manik Trisna Dewi Wetan and 1 female team defense against 3 males with weapons.

By collecting 87 medals, the Indonesian contingent is still stuck in fourth place in the 2023 SEA Games provisional standings.

Indonesia lost to Cambodia, which is firmly at the top of the standings with 102 medals (37 gold, 32 silver, 33 bronze).

Vietnam took second place with 98 medals (30 gold, 29 silver, 39 bronze). While Thailand is in third place with 86 medals (29 gold, 23 silver, 34 bronze).

After getting gold, the Red and White Team still has the opportunity to get additional gold through tennis, swimming and athletics.
