Update on Flash Floods in Cicurug Sukabumi, More Missing Victims, 971 People Affected

SUKABUMIUPDATE.com – After the flash flood which hit the Cicurug District, Sukabumi Regency, Monday (9/21/2020) evening, the sub-district noted that three residents were missing or have not been found.

The District Social Worker (TKSK) of the Cicurug District, Danik Saputra, said that the flash floods occurred in five villages and one sub-district. The five villages are Cisaat, Pasawahan, Bangbayang, Nyangkowek, Mekarsari, and Cicurug Villages.

“The victims affected by the flash flood were 319 families and 971 people,” said Danik sukabumiupdate.com, Monday (9/21/2020) evening.

Meanwhile, Danik said there was one additional resident who had not been found, bringing the total number of residents still in search to three people.


“The victims who have not been found are on behalf of Ajo (25 years) and Juned (60 years) from Cibuntu Village, Pasawahan Village, Kosim (60 years) from Aspol Village, Cicurug Village,” he said.
