The social activist, Gladys Ardón, reported tonight that her mother, Maria Ardón, has already been released. This afternoon it was learned that the authorities had arbitrarily detained her, following an anonymous accusation.
“I thank God and all the people who have been watching over us, I also thank the civil society organizations that have been accompanying us, MY MOTHER IS FREE,” Ardón thanked through his social networks.
In the afternoon, Gladys Ardón reported to the Cristosal Foundation the arbitrary capture of her mother, a merchant at the La Tiendona market.
This capture was one of many that have been recorded within the framework of the emergency regime, a state measure in force since March 27, 2022, and where serious human rights violations have been committed.
Ardón, through social networks, has been critical of the current government’s decisions regarding corruption, lack of transparency, human rights violations, among other aspects.
