Excellent Bavarian cuisine at our culinary weeks
Good food makes you happy and is very important to us. That’s why our annual program includes some culinary highlights, tailored to the season and time of year. Starting in February with fresh fish dishes of all kinds (February 14th – February 24th), followed by our schnitzel weeks in March (March 12th – March 23rd) and a varied range of vegetarian dishes in April (April 9th - April 20th). In keeping with Pentecost, we serve you Bavarian ox dishes in May (May 19th + May 20th).
If you prefer something sweet, you can feast on our generous cake and cake buffet until the end of March. Every Sunday, a delicious variety awaits you in our cozy rooms with traditional live music (January 28th, February 25th, March 24th).
You will notice that there is something for everyone when it comes to food. Reservations It’s best to book a table in good time and let us spoil you with culinary delights in the Munich Süd Restaurant.

Valentine’s Day with turtledove menu
Would you like to dress up your partner again? Then secure a table for our turtledove menu on February 14th and you’ll have a great Valentine’s Day gift. This evening Amor will serve a romantic 3-course menu by candlelight. Plus you get an aperitif you’ll fall in love with! You can find the exact menu here.
Story dinner
Or would you rather have a laugh? They can really go all out at our story dinner with W. Stelzle on February 23rd. The storyteller will entertain you with his program “As far as your calves are concerned”, which is accompanied by live music and a 3-course menu. So register for dinner now and spend a hearty evening at the Gasthof München.
Jazzabend
There’s swinging and jazzing! At our jazz evening on March 8th, the Philipp Mai Trio will enchant you musically in the Waldgasthof. Look forward to the finest live jazz music.
Sheepshead racing
There are events at the Gasthof München that are scheduled. And this includes, among other things, our traditional Schafkopf race. On April 26th there will be a “carting” again in the Waldgasthof Buchenhain! The Schafkopf cards are reshuffled and all game enthusiasts show off their skills in the Bavarian card game. Classic car meeting
And things continue traditionally: with our annual classic car meeting on May 4th! Lovers of nostalgic car bodies regularly come here to talk shop and admire. Because anyone who appreciates classic cars as much as we do at the Munich Gasthof knows: Nothing sounds as beautiful as the bubbling of a V8 engine under the hood of an old Mustang! Of course, we also fire up our Green Egg and grills again. Provide rock’n’roll and dance music Teddy & die Lollipops! Let’s meet?
80er Party
Before we start the exciting summer at the Gasthof München, we are hosting an 80s party for the first time this year! Under the motto “Back to the eighties” we invite all party lovers to take a journey back in time and celebrate with us on June 8th DJ Monti a cool theme party on the terrace at the bar. Please don’t forget bell-bottoms and a headband! Admission is free!
EM transmission
Finally, good news for all football fans: We will of course broadcast all European Championship games live during public viewing in the beer garden or on the big screen in our beer bar. It starts with the European Championship opener between Germany and Scotland on June 14th at 9 p.m. And then all you have to do is keep your fingers crossed for exciting goals!
