Upcoming Events and Activities in the Wendland Area: Clocks Change, Halloween, and Cultural Highlights

It’s that time again: On Sunday you can stay in bed an hour longer. Because the clocks change on Saturday night. Tuesday is a public holiday – which is why the event tips are also available for dates at the beginning of the week.

It ends on Sunday in Lüchow Cultural city area. For the last time, the works of regional artists can be admired in various Lüchow shops.

Plus, it’s Halloween. Strangely, we didn’t find an event for this scary day. There’s a roller disco in Neu Tramm and Meiselgeier rock the Rolling Stones Fan Museum.

For those interested in the media: the ex-EJZ journalist Benjamin Piel (now editor-in-chief of the Mindener Tageblatt). On Friday he will come to Hitzacker for a conversation about the press as a fourth power – “How majority opinion is made, even if it is not one” -.

8 p.m. Platenlaase. Cultural association. Fair of reason – “a psychological circus with experts, tricksters and prophets”. The magician Manuel Muerte from Hamburg and the puppeteer Suse Waechter from Berlin show the world as a fair of reason.

MONTAG

21 clock. Platenlaase. Cultural association. Premiere: Collective Plattenbruch: “The Heap”. Thirty people with and without a refugee background met at the Gasthof Meuchefitz, lived together and developed a play during this time.
