Up to 117 calls in three days: from their cell in La Farlède, they threaten their exes with death

Two Niçois, detained at La Farlède prison, were placed in police custody as part of two separate proceedings, opened for “threats to a spouse or ex-spouse”.

The two men, one 41 years old, the other 23 years old, were successively brought before the chamber of immediate appearances of the court of Toulon.

One is doomed …

“Since I got home [en prison], I don’t sleep anymore, I feel like I got fucked like a whore. When I go out, I’m going to kill you, I’m going to cut off your head, I’m going to burn your face with acid. Come to think of it, it helps me sleep. “

This is the kind of message the 23-year-old prisoner’s ex-companion received for several months in 2020.

When filing a complaint in December, the young woman said she had ended their relationship in 2019 because of the violence she suffered: tear gas in the mouth, unblocker poured on the head, etc.

Abuse inflicted while the victim was pregnant. Enough to send his attacker to prison for “violence” and, already, “death threats”.

After obtaining a phone in detention, he continued to attack his ex from his cell, and was therefore convicted again, in February 2020, for “repeated death threats”.

For this “recurrence of recidivism”, the criminal court of Toulon sentenced him to two additional years in prison, including six months of suspension with probation.

Enough to see the date of his release moving away, until then estimated at October 2021.

The other gets a deadline

The second defendant also prosecuted for “threats” – “I’m throwing acid on you” – but also “harassment” (up to 117 appeals in three days) requested time to prepare his defense with a lawyer from the Nice bar. The 40-year-old will be tried on March 10.
